Hello! My name is Teow Meng, my wife is Ivy . We are a married couple with a young son(16 years old). We live in a HDB flat in Bukit Panjang, an housing estate 15min away from Bukit Panjang MRT, Downtown Line (Blue Line).
My location is right next to Singapore's largest Nature Reserve. Most common hobby in my area are jogging, hiking, nature walks and rough terrain biking. Bukit Panjang is quiet and peaceful and is a nice place people who like to be close to nature.

ROOM DETAILS
The room is for rent at S$800 inclusive of utilities. As you can see from the pictures, the room is fully furnished.
Shared utilities: Kitchen, common bathroom, refrigerator, washing machine and Osim massage chair (free massage).
FACILITIES around my flat:
Coffeeshop, clinic, small grocery store (3 minutes walk from flat)
Supermarket and 2nd coffeeshop (8 minutes walk from flat)
Two large shopping centres. (15 minutes from flat by bus 922 or 972)
TRANSPORT
(Bus stop 3 minutes walk from my flat)
Bus 972: Direct bus to Orchard road, SMU and Dhoby Ghaut MRT.
972 take 40 minutes to travel to Dhoby Ghaut MRT.
Bus 922: Feeder bus service from flat to Bukit Panjang MRT (Downtown Line) 15min.
Segar LRT station (8 minutes walk)
Segar LRT connects to two MRT stations:
to Bukit Panjang MRT (Blue line) 10min ride
to Choa Chu Kang MRT (Red line) 20 min ride
RENTAL CONDITION
Smoking not allowed in house. (Please smoke outside)
Vaping is illegal in Singapore.
Drink alcoholic drinks in moderation when in house.
Please keep your room neat and clean (Hygiene really important to us).

Alex: Moving into Ivy and Meng’s place is one of the best decision I have made. They are very caring and warm people who welcome me like part of the family. I have been blessed with Ivy’s “simple” cooking that always extremely delicious.
The unit is very cozy and clean. It is also quite accessible to bus stop and LRT. My favourite would the 24 hrs Sheng Shiong nearby to get groceries whenever you want.

Arthur: I had the chance to live for several months in a rented room within Ivy and Meng’s apartment, and I can only highly recommend the experience.
The family is incredibly warm and welcoming. From the moment I arrived, they did everything to make me feel comfortable and at home. They even cooked delicious homemade meals for me on some occasions, which was truly heart-warming, especially at the beginning of my stay.
Beyond their kindness, they also helped me a lot in settling into life in Singapore. Thanks to their advice, I was able to discover many things about the local culture and neighbourhood tips.
The room I rented was very well-equipped and comfortable—perfect for either a short or long stay. The neighbourhood is calm and pleasant, ideal for relaxing after a busy day. In terms of transportation, it's really convenient: there's a bus stop right at the foot of the building that takes you directly to the city center, and the nearest LRT station is just a 5-minute walk away.
In summary, I warmly recommend this place to anyone looking to settle in Singapore in a peaceful, friendly, and well-connected environment!

Sometimes we share meals together, like for my birthday or the Chinese New Year, which has been a nice way to connect and feel part of the house. The place is comfortable, the atmosphere is relaxed, and I’ve always felt welcome here.]

PeiSuan: The room is bright and tidy, and the overall environment is comfortable. Conveniently located within walking distance of bus stops, light rail stations, and the food court (affordable prices) and daily necessities stores on the first floor of the HDB flats.
There is a natural park in the surrounding area where you can take a walk, away from the hustle and bustle, suitable for guests who prefer a quiet life.
The landlord couple are friendly and can communicate and coordinate daily life’s problems, They are especially considerate for guests who have just arrived in Singapore and need daily life’s guidance in Singapore. ]
